The DLSS technology utilises AI (artificial intelligence) to enlarge the resolution of rendered frames by taking a smaller frame and intelligently enlarging it. The clever technique of Supersampling has been praised for its ability to render games with high resolution with much greater efficiency than natively rendering at the same resolution - rendering fewer pixels and then using artificial intelligence to construct sharp, higher resolution images.
